Number 6

Yep, that’s right. Rejection number six. I know many published authors before me have been exactly in the place I am now…counting rejections. Wondering which one of the many query letters sent out will pique the interest of an agent. Each one is as hard as the one I received before it, but I had inspiration in a comment on a previous post I made about rejections, and I am paraphrasing: they are like scars, they hurt like hell but make you tougher. So for anyone else trying to get published, those are wise words to remember when you see that rejection pop up in your inbox. Don’t let disappointment cause you to give up. And on that note, I wish y’all all a great weekend!
